SHANE FILAN : POP SINGER MOVED TO FOLK ROCK ARTIST



                                     Shane Filan; Moved From Pop To Folk

Irish singer / song writer Shane Filan started his solo carrier after disbanded the Irish pop group Westlife. He was the lead singer of the group. As a pop group Westlife made a great history in pop music world. He worked with Westlife over 14 years so far.
After Westlife, Filan released his very first solo debut album " YOU & ME" on November 4, 2013. The album followed three single, "EVERYTHING TO ME" and "ABOUT YOU"& "KNEE DEEP IN MY HEART" .
In this album Filan surprisingly moved to folk rock from pop genre. The whole album consists a bunch of folk songs. Though those songs are catchy but surprising to his millions of fans because all these years his and westlife fans are used to with his pop genre experience. Filan said that the album is his very personal album, that he always dreamed of doing. His album comes out successfully and critically acclaimed positive. The album peaked #3 at the Irish Chart and # 6 in the UK album Chart. Most of the songs specially "EVERYTHING TO ME" , " KNEE DEEP IN MY HEART" and  "ONE OF THESE YEARS"  Folk rock based upbeat rhythmic song which kind of homey party and could took our pressure off.
